Your data is yours: We never sell your personal or organizational data.
Zero AI model training: We do NOT use your private documentation to train public AI models.
Data location: Customer data is hosted in selected AWS/GCP regions (IN, EU, US).
Deletion guarantee: If you delete your account, your data is permanently scrubbed within 30 days.

1. Data We Collect

When you register for or use Knowspace, we collect the following categories of information:

Account Data: Name, work email address, company name, team size, and authentication credentials.
Workspace Content: Documents, runbooks, comments, search queries, and files you upload to your workspace.
Technical Log Data: IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and system activity logs required for security monitoring.
Billing Data: Payment details processed securely via our payment providers (we do not store full credit card numbers).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data solely for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain the Knowspace service.
To power internal semantic search, AI summarization, and RAG retrieval inside your workspace.
To communicate service updates, security alerts, and customer support responses.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or unauthorized security breaches.

3. Our AI Data Isolation Commitment

Knowspace uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to provide semantic search, Q&A, and document summarization. All LLM calls are routed through enterprise API endpoints bound by strict non-retention agreements.

✓ Your content is never stored by AI providers, never used for training foundation models, and never accessible across workspace boundaries.

4. Data Sharing & Subprocessors

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data only with third-party service providers (subprocessors) necessary to host and deliver Knowspace (e.g., cloud hosting providers, transactional email providers, payment processors). All subprocessors undergo security vetting and are bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).

5. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to access, port, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export all workspace documents at any time in standard Markdown / JSON formats. To exercise any data rights, email privacy@knowspace.world.
